Widget Configuration¶
The Widget tab controls how the chat widget looks and where it appears on your website.
Navigate to: Inqyra > Configuration > Widget tab
Widget Visibility¶
Widget Status¶
Toggle the widget on or off. When disabled, the chat widget is completely hidden from all visitors.
Display Mode¶
Control which pages show the chat widget:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| All pages | Widget appears on every page of your website |
| Only selected pages | Widget only appears on pages you select |
| Everywhere except | Widget appears on all pages except the ones you select |
When using "Only selected pages" or "Everywhere except", a searchable page selector appears where you can choose specific pages.

Mobile Devices¶
Toggle whether the widget appears on mobile devices. When disabled, visitors on phones and tablets will not see the chat widget.
Widget Appearance¶
All appearance changes are reflected in a live preview that updates as you type.

Colors¶

| Primary Color | Used for the header, toggle button, send button, and user message bubbles |
| Text Color | Text color on colored backgrounds (header, buttons) |
Use the color picker or type a hex code directly (e.g., #0d6efd).
Icons¶

| Header Icon | A circular avatar image shown in the chat header. Click Upload to select from your WordPress media library |
| Show Icon in Messages | When enabled, the header icon also appears next to each assistant message in the chat |
| Send Button Icon | Optional custom icon for the send button |
Text & Labels¶

Position¶
Choose which corner of the screen the widget appears in:
- Bottom Right (most common)
- Bottom Left
- Top Right
- Top Left
Choose the widget's screen position
Live Preview¶
Click the Preview button to open a larger preview of the widget as it will appear to visitors. The preview updates in real time as you adjust settings.
